As an outreach for our community, the teachers of GraceWay Children Academy offer loving care and age-appropriate guidance through incorporating appropriate Bible stories and verses into daily education. They strive to lay the foundation for the development of a love for our Lord in the minds and hearts of each child.
A typical day at GraceWay Children Academy includes free play, scheduled academic time, gross motor and fine motor experiences, and meal times. Weekly, children in our older toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and full-day kindergarten classrooms have the opportunity to experience the art room, the music room, the library, and chapel.
All curriculum follows the Pennsylvania Early Childhood Learning Standards. Children are also assessed every six months using a Child Service Report, this is a progress report that also follows Pennsylvania Early Childhood Learning Standards. These reports assist teachers in structuring their classroom academics, tracking progress, and creating awareness for areas that need more attention.
GraceWay Children Academy believes communication and parent involvement is crucial to a child’s success. You will find numerous opportunities throughout the year to spend time at the center with your child – whether it’s through attending an event, helping with a classroom party, or viewing a play and more.
